    Our team also supports a lot of our learners' course-based work experience placements. From finding the actual placements and preparing you before you go, to supporting you on the placement and in identifying all the fantastic skills you're gaining along the way!

INDIVIDUAL CAREER ADVICE APPOINTMENTS

 

We provide 45 minute appointments with a qualified and impartial Career Adviser for all aspects of your career planning including:

  • Career choice/planning & Action Plan to help you achieve your goals

  • Higher Education/University Options

  • Apprenticeship and work-based training routes

  • Exploring options after your course

  • Feedback on both CV and Cover Letters

  • Interview preparation or mock interview

All Guidance Appointments are impartial, focused on your needs and can take place in a private space.

All of our Careers & Employability Advisers are trained and qualified to Level 7 in providing Careers Guidance and have the Qualification in Careers Guidance (QCG) conferred by the Career Development Institute.

​

The Information, Advice and Guidance work that our team provide is externally assessed and accredited by the Matrix Standard for quality IAG.

 

DROP IN ADVICE AND INFORMATION

15 Minute meetings with a member of the Careers Team are available in the careers area and operated on a 'first come first served basis' between 12pm - 2pm in Kings Cross and Victoria (see days in footer below).
These visits are ideal for quick queries including initial feedback on your CV, help with UCAS and researching careers information. You can also drop-in to advance book a longer appointment.
